How to become a Real Estate Salesperson and Where to file a Real Estate Salesperson Application?
Every State have different requirements for real estate agents, basically all states have same process for applicants.
For example, to apply the real estate salesperson in New York State,
First, you must be at least 18 years, then find a real estate shool and sucessfully complete an approved 75- hours salesperson qualifying course inculde License Law & Regulations, Law of Agency, Real Estate Instruments, Real Estate Financing, Land Use Regulations, Introduction to Construction, Valuation, Human Rights & Fair Housing, Environmental Issues, Real Estate Math, Salesperson as Independent Contractor.
After you complete these courses, you have to pass the school exam and your school will send your Certification of Satisfactory Completion to the Department of New York State.
Also, your school(or you can do yourself) will file your Real Estate Salesperson Application to the state and schedule State examination date for you.
Again, you need to pass state exam in order to get a Real Estate Salesperson License, but not yet, you are not a legal salesperson so far. The next step is to find a Real Estate Broker as your sponsor, and your license will be kept by your broker. You are not able to sale house or any activies as a Real Estate Saleperson until you find your sponsor.
Finally, you can act as a Real Estate Saleperson in the market to make your money now, you can
